Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BAMF Manufacturing ("BAMF Manufacturing," "we," "us," or "our") accesses, uses, protects, retains, and deletes information in connection with our Amazon selling business and the private internal software we use to operate it. We are an Amazon FBA private-label seller of branded coaxial cable splitter products, operating since 2015.
1. Scope
This policy covers information we access through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) and related Amazon reports, as well as our own business records (such as supplier invoices and cost data). It applies to our internal reporting and sale-preparation tooling, which is used solely for BAMF Manufacturing's own Amazon seller account. The tool is not offered to the public and does not provide services to other sellers.
2. Information we access
When operating our business we may access the following categories of information, collectively referred to as "Amazon Information":
- Order and transaction data — sales, refunds, settlements, fees, and financial events for our own seller account.
- Inventory data — fulfillable, inbound, reserved, unfulfillable, and researching quantities for our own listings.
- Listing and catalog data — our own ASINs, SKUs, titles, and product identifiers.
- Account and performance data — account health, reviews, and ratings for our own listings.
To the extent any report contains personally identifiable information (PII) relating to customers (for example, names or addresses in order-level data), we treat it as confidential, restrict access to it, and do not use it for any purpose other than fulfilling and accounting for our own orders. We do not request or retain customer PII beyond what is necessary for these business purposes.
3. How we use information
We use Amazon Information only for legitimate internal business purposes, including:
- Financial reporting, reconciliation, and bookkeeping;
- Inventory review and reorder planning;
- Listing and pricing review;
- Preparing diligence materials for a potential sale of the business. Materials shared with prospective buyers are redacted to remove customer PII, supplier identities, and other sensitive identifiers, and exact figures are disclosed only to screened buyers under a non-disclosure agreement.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent Amazon Information or personal data.
- We do not use Amazon customer data for advertising or marketing.
- We do not combine Amazon Information with data from other sellers.
- We do not share Amazon Information publicly or with unauthorized parties.
5. Data security
We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data:
- Data is transmitted over encrypted (TLS/HTTPS) connections.
- API credentials and tokens are stored outside source code in protected configuration that is excluded from version control. They are never committed to repositories, embedded in client code, or shared publicly. We do not use or store Amazon account passwords in our tooling.
- Access is limited to authorized owners and approved developers on a least-privilege basis.
- Raw data and generated reports are stored locally and excluded from version control; buyer-facing exports are redacted before sharing.
- We avoid writing PII to application logs.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain Amazon Information only as long as needed for the business purposes described above or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). We delete Amazon Information that is no longer required, and in any event retain personally identifiable information for no longer than 30 days after it is no longer needed to fulfill or account for an order, except where retention is required by law. Upon closure of our seller account or revocation of API access, we delete the associated Amazon Information within 30 days, except as required by law.
7. Service providers
We use a limited number of reputable service providers (for example, static website hosting and, where applicable, accounting or legal advisors) and require them to protect information consistent with this policy. We do not grant service providers access to Amazon Information except as necessary to perform services for us.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
9. International data transfers
Our business operates in the United States. If information is transferred across borders, we handle it consistent with this policy and applicable law.
10. Children's privacy
Our business and website are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
